The seemingly never ending dispute between BA and Unite looks like continuing until either the union or company goes bankrupt.
Talks between the two entrenched sides, held at Acas yesterday, broke up without any sign of resolution.
Unite intend to hold another ballot for further strikes, likely to take place during the summer holiday season.
A spokesperson for Acas told Citywire:
"Regrettably, the parties were unable to move closer to an agreement. At present there are no further meetings planned but Acas will monitor developments and our services remain available".
Clearly the best option for the travelling public is to fly with other airlines, where possible, until these two stubborn dinosaurs sort themselves out.
The concept of customer care has long since been forgotten by both Unite and BA.
